Camping Checklist

When going camping don’t forget to make a check list before you go.  Your camping checklist will vary according to where you are camping, the length of your holiday, the activities you have planned, time of year and the age of your children.

There can be so many items to remember, so to make it easier and to make it a smoother packing process I find a checklist helpful.

Although this is not an exhaustive list, it may be helpful to look at the checklist below before you go.

Tent – When buying a tent, you can choose a larger berth than the number of people camping, this gives you extra space for luggage.

Tent accessories – these can include tent porch and tent carpet.

Spare tent pegs – Incase any get damaged or you lose any.

Mallet – A must have to knock the tent pegs into the ground.

Lighting – Lighting to hang in the tent or to use outside and a torch for carrying to facilities at night.

Duct tape – Very handy for fixing the emergency rips in tents or coats, also you’d be surprised what can be fixed with tape.

Brush – to keep your tent clean from all the grass and sand.
