The top 115 mm is externally butted to remove excess weight from the unclamped area of the post, while the final 70 mm of the post is internally bored out & slash-cut to save further weight. The bar holding the two cold rolled TiAL6V4 Titanium clamping bolts is also slotted. The tube itself is honed from seamless custom drawn multi butted & grain orientated 7075 T6 heat-treated aluminium, specific to its outer diameter, reinforced where you need it, and removed where you don’t. The SP-420 has zero offset, with a user-friendly twin bolt and cradle design offering fine-thread angle adjustment that will not tip with excessive nose or nail pressure on the saddle.
