Shimano 8 Speed DrivetrainFor the 26″ wheel performance, Raleigh have fitted one more gear to give a Shimano 8 speed drivetrain, including a Altus rear derailleur and revo shifter both these offer a light action performance making it easier for kids change gear. Tektro V-BrakesTo ensure that the your child can stop with ease, Raleigh have bolted on a set of Tektro V-Brakes to give a solid braking performance. Along with these they have got short pull levers making it that little bit easier for the children to reach the levers. Room for GrowthAs children grow the seat height on the bike needs to go up, to make this easier Raleigh have fitted a quick release seat clamp making it that bit quicker to increase the height of the saddle. Rolling ResistanceTo make it a smooth ride for your child the performance 26″ has been spec'd up with Innova super light slick tyres.
