This Cambridgeshire off road driving experience is superb introduction to the world of 4x4driving. You’ll spend 6 hours in a fantastic 4×4 learning how to take on some muddy and unforgiving terrain in your vehicle, with a professional instructor beside you throughout to guide you through the tricky bits! 4×4 driving is a completely different discipline to the sort of driving we do on the road; the vehicles are bigger, the terrain is a whole lot rougher, and the driving technique is totally different. When off road driving, the key is slow and steady driving with lots of control and confidence, taking the burly vehicle up, around, under and over the many obstacles you will find in your path as you drive around the muddy off road track. You’ll have a full safety briefing before you actually get into the 4×4 and start driving, as well as a bit of theory on driving techniques and an introduction to the 4×4. Your instructor will get in the driver’s seat first for a driving demonstration, so watch closely, because next it’s your turn to take the wheel, and guide your 4×4 around the course! Your instructor will be beside you throughout the drive, to offer tips and guidance as you tackle the varied and challenging terrain on the 720 acre grounds!
