Kitesurfing (also called kiteboarding) is a fairly young extreme sport that has really exploded onto the extreme scene since it was first practised in the 1990’s. It is a bit like surfing, but you’re able to fly. It’s a little like parachuting, but you get to launch up and land. It’s quite like wakeboarding, but the air you get is… well… more, and longer, and you don’t need a speedboat. Yes, in a nutshell, it is a dream mash-up of everyone’s favourite aspects of the best extreme sports out there! What more could a person want?
