the whisky lounge are a well-established and respected independent outfit specialising in hosting informal yet massively informative tasting events throughout the uk. we are delighted to offer you the opportunity to join them at a location near you or your loved ones. this ‘beginner’s guide’ is for those who have an interest or curiosity of this iconic dark spirit. during the session you will taste a variety of whiskies from various regions of scotland, as well as one or two ‘world whiskies’, whilst learning all about the how’s, where’s and what for’s from one of the amiable and knowledgeable guys or gals from the whisky lounge.by the end of the session you will know your islay from your highland and your peated from your unpeated and much more besides! the sessions take place in a choice of lovely venues around the country and include six samples of delicious whiskies. they will last roughly 1½ to 2 hours and typically start at 7pm….
